My trip to Li Jiang, China

Last week I visited Li Jiang in the Yunnan province of China and I’ve uploaded my photos here. The opportunity to visit Li Jiang arose when I received free complimentary stay from Emperor International at their hotel (Sina Hotel) in Li Jiang. We had to endure long talk from the staffs at Emperor International and [...]

Family opinion irrelevant to become a Muslim

According to Malaysian Islamic Development Department (Jakim) director-general Datuk Wan Mohamad Sheikh Abdul Aziz, family consent or acknowledgment is irrelevant is a non-Muslim wishes to convert to Muslim. It is like saying, if you wish to betray your country, by all means, just do it, you don’t have to ask anyone. True in that sense. [...]

Busy Busy

I’ve been rather busy the past week. Short hand at work thus no time to write blog.

Have a heart for puppies

I received a forwarded email asking for help to take care puppies. To cut the chase short, there’s this lady; Jacqueline Tsang who needs help to take care/adopt some of the 37 puppies which she had rescued from the Dewan Bandaraya City Pound in Setapak. These puppies if otherwise not rescued, would be put to [...]

Power of Sultans’ diminishing?

The last couple of days and weeks have seen many cases involving Sultans’ decision in a couple of states questioned. Even the Agong’s decision is questioned. The funny this is, when Lim Kit Siang was unhappy with the Sultan of Perak’s decision to appoint a PAS MP as the Chief Minister, some Malays leaders in [...]

Disaster if Anwar is PM

Election day looming… scenario from Malacca

I went up to KL today and then came home to Malacca. Along the way, I noticed that the most areas are not flooded with banners from the various parties yet, especially not the oppositions’.  Probably, they’ll put them up after tomorrow; after all the nominations has been confirmed. However, I prefer them to keep [...]

How to afford anything

I was browsing some photography site and came across KenRockwell.com. Well, this site is primarily about photography but I came across this article ‘How to afford anything‘. The writer isn’t exactly in the mould of Robert Kiyosaki when talking about this subject but still it is interesting and humorous. I would recommend it as good [...]

Had a great but busy time for Chinese New Year 2008. Spend 6 days back in Malacca. Went to some relative’s place, in-laws place and friends’ place. Took up most of our time for CNY. We were really exhausted on most nights. Not to mention all the good food that we had at home and [...]

Ronaldo’s new £4 million pound home

Ronaldo's new £4 million pound home

He’s definitely one of the best footballers in English Premier League; if not the world at the moment. How he has evolved over the years. Although some of the occasional dive and sulking could still be seen, no doubt his dazzling skills is just fantastic to watch. My favourite Manchester United player after the charismatic [...]

Plan to buy new place in Singapore delayed

After speaking to a property agent yesterday, it seems that we are not going to buy our new place in Singapore within by next month. We still got some homework to do on financing and for some reason it takes about 8 weeks for the Singapore Housing Development Board (HDB) to approve our purchase. Don’t [...]

About to be homeless soon

My HDB apartment unit owner (who has been working in India for the past one year) had just dropped me a bomb email today. She’s coming back to Singapore next month on the 5th February. Under our agreement, I’d be given a months time to look for a new place to move. With busy work [...]
